Wedding Day - Rachel & Ben

This card for Rachel and Ben was based on the same idea as the wedding card I shared yesterday.

 

I used the same Simply Print image from Lily of the Valley, cutting the image into a circle with a Stitched Mat Circles by Lil' Inker Designs. 

The lacy effect cirlce and border are cut using a Sizzix Thinlits die set 'Doily and Doily Border'. The flowers are dies from Crafter's Companion. This time I added some fronds with a Martha Stewart punch, and some Crystal stickles.
The papers and letter stickers are from another old Basic Grey collection, this time it was 'Wisteria'.

Embellishments include a wide and narrow ribbons, sequins, & flat-backed pearls.

I also inked my papers with 'Dusty Concord' Distress Ink.

Wild Things!

Further to my earlier blog entries with cards made using my Cricut here are the first batch of many I have been comissioned to make with a wild animal theme.

Again I have used a selection of papers and cardstock. Some using an 8" x 8" paper stack from DCWV - Kid's Safari. I used the Create a Critter Cartridge for the Cricut. All supplied by Cardinal Colours.

The greetings are stamps from Liliof the Valley. I added some inks, stickles, perfect pearls, gems and flat backed pearls.

Some of these will have names and / or ages added too.

Off to make some more!

Happy Father's Day - Dad

Dad has always loved model aricraft, so I thought he would like this image.

I made my Dad a father's day card using this new Lili of the Valley stamp called Aeroplane.

The image is stamped onto water colour paper, in Rich Cocoa Memento dye based ink. Then I used the ink pad with paint brush and water to colour the image.

Happy 19th Birthday Catherine!

Happy 19th Birthday Catherine!

And for my third post today, here is Catherine's birthday card.

The ballerina stamp is from Lily of the Valley and she is coloured with Promarkers to match the papers which are from the Sparkling Spring Collection by Prima Marketing.

The card is an On The Edge Petal Point card from Craftwork Cards, folded to make an easel card.

The letter stickers and the greeting rub-on are from Making Memories. The greeting has been cut out with a pair of Stampin' Up punches.

Happy 19th Birthday Emily!

Today is Emily's 19th birthday and she is away at university, so for the first time we won't see her on her birthday.  We are looking forward to catching up with her and Catherine and Andrew soon as they will all be home for the Easter holidays.

I made and sent this card to Emily in Nottingham.

I used a Craftwork Cards 6x6" lime green card. The papers, die cut shapes and brads are from Creative Imaginations.  The green glittery letter stickers are from Sassafras. (all from Cardinal Colours).

The stamp is from Lili of the Valley.

I used my promarkers to colour the children.

The selection of flowers, ribbon and brads are from my stash.

Fairy Wings

I have a lot of birthdays this month and need get started on making some cards. The theme on The Basic Grey Challenge Blog at present is 'Wings'. So I dug out some Phresh and Phunky BG papers, and stamped the 'Brithday Fairy' from Lili of the Valley.

The fairy is coloured with Promarkers and decorated with paper roses, ribbon, flat backed pearls and a heart pin. I added lots of sparkle in the form of stickles.
