Rosina Emma Holder

Rosina Emma Holder,  known as Rose - My Great Auntie Rose.
Born in 1893 in Bromley, the fifth of fourteen children to Frederick Henry
and Emma Jane Florence (Williams) Holder.

The 1901 Census shows Rosina was 8 years old and living in Southlands Road, Bromley, Kent with her parents and eight siblings.

At the time of the 1911 Census Rose was 18 years old and working as a live-in housemaid domestic servant working for James Wilks (a leather merchant) and his wife Jessie living at Swallowfield, Southborough Road in Bickley, Kent.

Rose married Joshua Hall known as Joe in 1921 they had a son Kenneth. in 1923

I have used Auntie Rose's photo on my layout for the May Scrapology Design Team.

I used:
Patterned papers form Maja Designs
Kraft cardstock from Bazzill
Chipboard Birdcage by Dusty Attic
Wooden leaves from Prima
Home made crochet flowers with cotton thread
Resin roses are from a pair of earrings
Various buttons, antique lace, twill tape, cheesecloth, flat-backed pearls from stash
Metal buckle from Making Memories
Punches from Martha Stewart - leaf frond, Punch around the page
Punch from Woodware
White Acrylic Paint from Making Memories
Distress Ink

We are scraplifting the work of Tracy Christine Funk from Ontario, Canada.  Her gallery can be found HERE.

Here is the lovely original layout called 'Four Sisters' we have chosen to scraplift:

We have created a sketch too:

Using the layout and sketch as inspiration, Scrapology want you to include some corrugated card in your layout. Please see the Scrapology blog for more details - link can be found in my sidebar.

Tracy's layouts rarely have titles so I left the title off. Later I decided to add 'Rosina' with some American Craft Thicker Letter stickers which I inked with Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink. this will form part of my heritage album. I printed out the details and they are hidden away behind the photo panel.
